History of DHIS Lodaya
Darul Hikam Foundation was pioneered by K.H.E. Hasbullah Hafidzi in 1942 by establishing Madrasah Islam in Bandung. However, it ceased operation during the physical revolution. The madrasah was later reopened in 1949 under the name Sekolah Rakyat Muslimin.
Throughout its development, Darul Hikam Foundation faced various challenges and obstacles. The school building once collapsed, forcing all students to be evacuated to nearby schools. The pioneering efforts were then restarted in 1963.
With the permission of Allah SWT, K.H.E. Hasbullah Hafidzi finally succeeded in building Masjid Darul Hikam on Jalan Ir. H. Juanda No. 285, Dago, Bandung. Following the construction of the mosque, Darul Hikam gradually organized formal education aligned with the curriculum of the National Education Ministry in 1966.
Later, as a response to global educational demands, Darul Hikam Integrated School Secondary Lembang (boarding school) was established in 2007. Meanwhile, Darul Hikam Integrated School Secondary Lodaya was founded in 2023 and officially established in 2024, continuing the foundation’s commitment to providing quality Islamic and international education.
